Cycle through the 7 Lakes Route and experience Patagonia at its fullest expression

Embark on a breathtaking 7-day bike tour through the majestic mountains of Patagonia, Argentina. This unforgettable journey takes you through the stunning landscapes of Bariloche, San Martin de los Andes, and Villa la Angostura. Pedal your way through the pristine natural parks of Nahuel Huapi and Lanin, where the beauty of the surroundings unfolds with every turn of the trail. Immerse yourself in the awe-inspiring scenery, from crystal-clear lakes to lush forests, and experience the warm hospitality of the local communities. This is not just a bike tour; it’s a week-long adventure that combines the thrill of cycling with the unparalleled beauty of Patagonia’s mountainous terrain.

Day 1 – Bariloche

Arrival at the Bariloche airport. Transfer to the accommodation. Dinner (included). There will be a transfer service available from the airport to the hotel from 11:30 am to 5:00 pm. Bike fitting at the hotel.

Day 2  – Circuito Chico

Breakfast and pedal through the famous Circuito Chico, Llao Llao, Colonia Suiza, and Cerro Catedral. 40km on a mix of asphalt and gravel. Lunch (included) at the Patagonia Craft Brewery. Accommodation.

Day 3 – Paso Cordoba

Departure from Bariloche in a private transfer, 45 minutes to Confluencia. Start of the ride towards San Martín de los Andes through Paso Córdoba: Gravel road on a rural route. This path traverses beautiful valleys and steep mountains with interesting shapes sculpted by wind, water, and ice. Support with hydration and fruits provided. Visit to the village of Meliquina. We’ll continue by vehicle to San Martín de los Andes. Cycling for 40-50 km. Accommodation. Dinner included.

Day 4 – Chapelco

Breakfast and transfer to Chapelco Mountain. It is an internationally recognized ski slope transformed into bike trails in the summer, suitable for all skill levels. It offers long and incredible trails surrounded by native forests and spectacular landscapes. Lunch included in San Martín and accommodation.

Day 5 – Rosales lagoon

After breakfast, we will ascend to ‘Laguna Rosales,’ ‘Huella Andina,’ and ‘La Tucumana’: all individual trails used in the famous ‘Patagonia Run’ event. Then visit the shores of ‘Lake Lolog.’ Lunch included and free afternoon in San Martín to explore its countless typical shops, delightful breweries, and restaurants offering traditional Patagonian dishes such as lamb, trout, and the classic barbecue, etc.

Day 6 – Villa La Angostura

Breakfast in San Martín de los Andes. A 40 km vehicle transfer. We gear up and embark on a legendary journey on asphalt, crossing the Seven Lakes Route towards Villa La Angostura. Plenty of adrenaline and guaranteed fun in one of the most breathtaking landscapes of Argentine Patagonia. Hydration and snack stop at Lake Espejo. Approximate distance 70 km. Around 1000 meters of cumulative elevation. Accommodation and dinner in Villa La Angostura.

Day 7 

Breakfast and group transfer to Bariloche airport. We will be arriving at the airport around noon, departing from Villa La Angostura (an hour and twenty minutes away from the Bariloche airport). Only one group transfer service will be provided after breakfast. Please consider this for your return flight. End of services.

Yes, please be mindful of excess weight and proper packaging for transportation.

Payment methods

To secure your spot on the tour, you’ll need to make a payment of $250. You can do this either through Wise or PayPal, with commissions factored in. You can check the PayPal commissions using the following url: https://www.salecalc.com/paypal. Then, on the day of arrival in Patagonia, the remaining amount must be paid in dollars.

Return Policies

Once the reservation is made, there is no refund in case of cancellation. The reservation can be used for another available date. If the cancellation is made less than 1 month before the tour date, the costs associated with hotel reservation cancellations for the next date will be included.

For rented bicycles, please bring cycling shoes and your clip-in pedals as all our bicycles have normal pedals.

Other personal accessories can be attached to the bicycle.

For those who want to bring their own bicycle, it is recommended to bring spare parts and use a hard case.

Please inform about any special dietary needs or medical requirements (diabetes, cardiovascular issues, etc.) upon your arrival.
