Thoroughly explore the incredible landscapes of Patagonia on an 11-day adventure.

Our journey takes us through the region of Bariloche, San Martín de los Andes, Villa Pehuenia, and Villa La Angostura in Argentina’s Patagonia. We’ll explore Lanín National Park, Nahuel Huapi National Park, the Lanín Volcano, and Batea Mahuida with the Mapuche Reserve.
We’ll be in northern Patagonia, following the ‘road less traveled’ through some of the most remote areas of the Andean lake district. Drawing on our local agency’s extensive knowledge, we’ve crafted a cycling adventure that goes beyond the guidebooks to uncover this region’s remarkable treasures. The result is an authentic experience in a part of Patagonia that still sees relatively few tourists—a frontier region with rustic charm, set against a breathtaking Andean backdrop.
Flying into the lakeside town of Bariloche, situated on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi, we’ll start our journey with an introductory ride along the excellent “Circuito Chico.” From there, we’ll cross the high and rugged Paso Córdoba (4,265 ft) to reach Argentina’s “adventure capital,” San Martín de los Andes. Here, we’ll spend a day cycling on the trails of the renowned Cerro Chapelco Ski Resort, then ride to the Tromen Pass (3,625 ft) and the majestic Lanín Volcano.
Our route features climbs and descents through the Andes mountain range, along quiet roads surrounded by snow-capped volcanoes and shimmering lakes. After venturing into the native lands of the Mapuche people, we’ll explore the beautiful city of San Martín de los Andes and the exclusive Lanín National Park and Reserve. We’ll then take a boat across Lake Huechulafquen to reach the international Carririñe Pass.
Next, we’ll pedal from San Martín through Laguna Rosales and Lago Lolog, before heading south again along the spectacular Route of the Seven Lakes, passing through pristine forests, rivers, and lakes until we arrive at Villa La Angostura on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi. With 10 days of diverse cycling, this is one of the best and most affordable cycling adventures available in one of the world’s most iconic destinations.

We will pedal approximately 45 km daily
